URBN TRVL was founded by a group of young minority engineers from Missouri University of Science & Technology & Morehouse College, who spent many years traveling internationally and quickly recognized that Americans from "underrepresented groups" were not present in the international scene. The immense amounts of perspective that they gained from interacting with people on every continent was something that they passionately wanted to share with people. The group wanted to create a platform where melanin-rich voyageurs could appreciate the same life-changing experiences as them; thus URBN TRVL was born.
